Money and elections in Illinois 2000
The Illinois State Board of Elections' sixth report which summarizes the flow of dollars in political campaigns in Illinois. This report follows our 1998 study by reviewing contests in the 2000 election cycle. Again we have attempted to paint the "big picture" in an effort to bring some meaningful analysis to the large sums of money spent to elect candidates to public office in this state. The races covered in this review include all contests for Judicial offices and the Illinois General Assembly.
