Fiscal State of the State, FY 2007
This special report provides a comprehensive view of Illinois finances over the past five years and represents a fiscal state of the state for legislators and state policy makers to consider as they begin the process of enacting a new budget for fiscal year 2009. It illustrates the enormous financial challenges confronting the state as we yet again attempt to address long-standing budgetary issues and begin to face an increasingly uncertain economic future.
