The Illinois Task Force on Health Planning Reform
This document is the final report of the Task Force on Health Planning Reform required by Senate Bill 244 of the 95th General Assembly. Senate Bill 244 amended the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Act to create a 19-member Task Force to evaluate the current Certificate of Need program and recommend changes to the structure and function of both the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board and the Illinois Department of Public Health in the review of applications to establish, expand, or modify health facilities and related capital expenditures.
