The Illinois Department of Transportation announces today that weather permitting, construction work on IL 2 south of Oregon will begin on Monday, May 21, 2012. Northwest Illinois Construction Company will be starting the project to improve the 1.4 miles of IL 2 through Castle Rock State Park.
