This manual has been prepared to train the student to become a Level III Portland Cement Concrete PCC Technician. The main focus of the manual is to provide a procedure to design concrete mixes for Illinois Department of Transportation herein referred to as IDOT or the Department, Quality Control/Quality Assurance QC/QA projects. The manual summarizes various specifications, but project contract specifications shall govern in all cases.
