Design and Construction Manual

In 2002, the Design and Construction Manual was created so that all project phase requirements - from design through closeout - were included in one manual, so the A/E has only one reference to look to. The legalese, all the things that make a contract, insurance requirements, and a skeleton description of A/E duties and responsibilities are included in the PSA. The detailed requrements of the old A/E Manual, the Project Manual Workbook, and A/E duties included in Procedures and Forms - Constructiion Phase were incorporated into the Design and Construction Manual. There are no major changes to the content of this edition of the DCM. Some changes were made, which reflect administrative and legislative changes, including adoption of current CSI s[ecification section numbering.
