The Economic Development for a Growing Economy Tax Credit Program (“EDGE” or “the Program”) is the State’s foundational tax incentive program offered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (“DCEO” or the “Department”). EDGE provides tax credits for businesses that create new full-time jobs, retain existing full-time jobs and make capital investments in Illinois.
