Lt. Governor Juliana Stratton is the Chair of the Illinois Council on Women and Girls and has always fought to defend reproductive freedom, including testifying in front of the US Senate and recently giving keynote remarks at the Illinois Planned Parenthood Annual Fundraiser. Since Roe fell, Illinois has become an oasis of reproductive freedom in the Midwest and an example to America. The passage of HB3709 and HB3637 will expand access to reproductive care for students on campuses across Illinois and shield doctors from punishment for delivering lifesaving care.
