The University Core Curriculum: Critical Inquiry and Public Engagement
The proposal below for the University Core Curriculum, whose theme will be Critical Inquiry and Public Engagement, outlines the work and recommendations of the university-wide General Education Task Force. It reflects a two-year process of review of the current general education curriculum at Northeastern, research on best practices and successful models at other universities across the United States, and, finally, broad consensus on recommendations for revisions and expansions of the program for general education at NEIU.
