Press Release: In an effort to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow this Labor Day holiday weekend, the Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that non-emergency roadwork will be suspended, where possible, from 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 4, until 12:01 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8.
