Metropolitan Alliance of Police, Chapter #228 -vs- Chief Judge of the 12th Judicial Circuit (River Valley Juvenile Detention Center): On September 28, 2011, Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) Anna Hamburg-Gal issued a Recommended Decision and Order (RDO), dismissing the unfair labor practice charge filed in the above-captioned matter. In that charge, Metropolitan Alliance of Police, Chapter #228 (Charging Party) alleged the Chief Judge of the 12th Judicial Circuit (Respondent) had violated Sections 10(a)(4) and (1) of the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act, 5 ILCS 315 (2010), as amended (Act), by refusing to cooperate in the selection of an interest arbitrator pursuant to Section 14 of the Act.
