Illinois-American Water Company ("Illinois-American" or the "Company") submitted a Petition in accordance with Section 9-220.2 of the Illinois Public Utilities Act ("Act") (220 ILCS 5/9-220.2) and Section 656.80(a) of the rules of the Illinois Commerce Commission ("Commission"), 83 Ill. Adm. Code 656.80(a), seeking initiation of a proceeding to review the reconciliation of revenues and costs under its Qualifying Infrastructure Plant ("QIP") Rider during the year 2006. Illinois-American filed reconciliations for the six service districts, Alton, Streator, Cairo, Interurban, Pontiac, and Peoria, respectively.
