Gypsy Moth Treatment to Begin Next Week
Press Release: The Illinois Department of Agriculture will begin treating parts of northern Illinois for the destructive Gypsy Moth on Monday, May 14th, weather permitting. The treatments will take two days, and will likely resume on Wednesday, May 16th, weather permitting. Each year, the Department works with the United States Forest Service on a two-pronged approach to treating this destructive pest.
