This issue of the Research Bulletin summarizes the findings of the first statewide survey of adult resident victims of crime, completed in 2005 by the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. The survey results offer criminal justice practitioners an additional tool by which to measure the extent and nature of crime in Illinois.
