Pursuant to the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, 45 CFR Sections 164.400-414 and corresponding regulations of the State of Illinois, the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT), the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) and the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) (collectively, the Departments) are notifying the media of a security incident with the State of Illinois Integrated Eligibility System (IES).
The Illinois State Board of Education, pursuant to 105 ILCS 5/2-3.104, must submit to the Illinois General Assembly by March 1 of each year a report listing all State mandates applicable to the common schools during the school year covered by the report, excluding only those mandates that relate to school elections.
