On August 28, 2018, the ICC entered an order initiating the present rulemaking proceeding and authorizing the submission to the Secretary of State of the first notice of a proposed amendment to 83 Ill. Adm. Code 220, Reports of Accidents by Fixed Public Utilities Other Than Pipelines Transporting Liquids, which sets forth requirements that public utilities subject to the rules must follow in reporting accidents to the Commission.
