Rockton Road at the IL 251 interchange in Roscoe

The Illinois Department of Transportation announces today that weather permitting, construction work on Rockton Road at the IL 251 interchange will begin on Monday, August 27, 2012. William Charles Construction Company is the contractor for the $254,380 project to resurface Rockton Road through the interchange area.

Resurfacing Project to begin on Sidney-Longview Road

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that beginning July 9, 2012, 3 miles of Sidney-Longview Road will be resurfaced from Block Road to Bongard Road in Champaign County. The project starts approximately 4 miles south of Sidney. During construction, one lane of traffic will be maintained on Sidney-Longview Road.

Omer Osman, Deputy Director, Region Five Engneer for the Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that a Union Pacific Railroad crew will make repairs to the IL 146 crossing at Ware near the intersection of IL 3 on Tuesday September 4, 2012 beginning at 7:00 a.m. Repairs are expected to take 1 day.
