Press release announcing that Steven Taslitz, a Northbrook investment manager, has been named to the Illinois Board of Higher Education by Governor Rod R. Blagojevich. Taslitz, whose appointment must be confirmed by the Senate, will serve the remainder of the term of Mark Barmak, who resigned from the Board earlier this year. The term expires in January 2007.
