Lake Bloomington Watershed Plan

In the IEPA report, Chapter 1 discusses the rationale for beneficial use 23 designations and impairments for Lake Bloomington which is located in central Illinois. 24 Chapter 2 describes the characteristics of the watershed and water bodies. Chapter 3 25 describes the water quality standards and water quality assessment of existing data. 26 Chapter 4 summarizes the nonpoint and point sources in Lake Bloomington. Chapter 5 27 describes the technical approach used for the TMDL development including modeling 28 approach and calibration. Chapter 6 presents the TMDL components including load 29 allocations. Finally, Chapter 7 briefly describes the implementation plan.

Generators and Managers of Hazardous Waste in Illinois

Section 20.1 of the Illinois Environmental Protection Act instructs the Illinois EPA to identify sites that generate, treat, store or dispose of hazardous wastes and to report the types and quantities of hazardous waste involved. Hazardous waste is defined by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), which gave the EPA authority to control hazardous wastes from cradle to grave. This publication makes no attempt to analyze this data. Analysis is contained in a companion publication: Hazardous Waste Generation and Management: 1987-2009 -- A Summary of Reports to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.

Annual Compliance Report for Public Water Supplies, 2003

The purpose of this annual compliance report is to satisfy the requirement of Section 1414(c)(3) of the 1996 Amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). States with national primary enforcement authority are to prepare, make readily available to the public, and submit to the Administrator of the USEPA by July 1 of each year, an annual report on violations occurring during the previous calendar year of national primary drinking water regulations by public water systems.
